So my friend ask me for help on what's happening on her MS teams. She is currently using Windows 10 and MS Teams is what we use for our online school but somehow when our teacher start a meeting, the join button doesn't show up on her screen. On the other hand, my friend tried to join using the calendar but then the calendar is empty so she cant join also so she just asks for help from me and my friends to request join her in the meeting.. This other problem is not that important but when she joins the meeting, the time that the call is ongoing is 15 hours on her screen but for mine its just 40 minutes. It means that her time is wrong too but her time in her computer is just right. There is just a problem with her MS Teams. Does someone know how to fix this problem? Here's the screenshots.

    Hi SofiaMika,

Is your friend able to join other meetings? There could be something specific to this meeting where the join is not shown in the calendar. If it is a recurring meeting, you can ask your teacher to add your friend explicitly and resend the invite.

I hope this will help. Is there anything else that can help on this case?

    Regards

    Nik

Yes my friend is a member of the class. My friend cant find the join button because it cannot be seen when our teacher started the meeting. About the time, my friend tried it and it didn't work but its fine.

    Hi SofiaMika,

I'm Nik, an independent advisor here and happy to assist you with this issue.

    1. Regarding the Time issue, Teams doesn't sync with computer date and time setting, and it has been identified as a bug that Microsoft is working on.

However, you still can update Teams time with these settings:

    1. Select your profile picture at the top of the app, then select "Settings" > "General" and scroll down to the "Language" section.

Selecting your preferred language and region also updates your time and date format.

    1. Join meeting is not available in the calendar, please ensure that your friend is added to the team(class) as a member.

    I hope this will help!

    Regards

    Nik
