How to recover password for new outlook account that was never used?

Hi all - I'm in a real pickle here. I created an outlook account for a community volunteering group and I cannot remember the password. Duh!

I have followed the 'forgotten password' instructions but that hasn't worked.

These are the steps I followed:

Clicked the 'forgotten password' when I signed in, I'm taken to the 'recover your account page' and enter the name of another Outlook account I have, I receive the Outlook code and enter it, I then add the details on the next screen starting with Name and ending with Postal Code and click Next.

It then asked me who I've sent emails to and the exact subject lines - as I haven't sent any emails from the account I am not able to fill any of these fields. Many attempts later, I was then asked questions about my Skype account which I answered but received an email saying I had not provided sufficient information.

I'm stuck in this loop for the past 2 days and Outlook doesn't have support for free accounts. Has anyone experienced this and can you please help?

Are you referring to your Outlook.com account?
