Using class notebook in different channels - notes tab not visible

Hi,

I've set up a Teams space for one of my module groups, and want to have different channels for different assignment groups. One the Welcome page, it says, "If you've added channels to your class team, use the Notes tab in those channels to continue working together in real time. Each channel connects to its own section in the Collaboration Space". However, the Notes tab does not show up (whether I have OneNote open or not). I've tried several alternative ways of doing this, including trying to create private spaces, myself, within the Collaboration Space - but, again, I can't seem to find a way to restric access to just some of the students.

Is this techncal issue, or am I missing something obvious?

Thanks in hope,

Mike.

    Hi Mobyd33,

Thanks for your message. I'm afraid, though, I don't understand - I have a Class Notebook in Teams, and it clearly says that I should be able to see a Notes tab in each of my pages. Similarly, there are lots of pages (e.g. https://support.microsoft.com/en-ie/office/give-student-groups-separate-permissions-in-the-collaboration-space-a87b4fd0-72e2-486f-a978-cdbb78822b30) that say I should be able to allocate different groups separate permissions in the Collaboration Space - but I can't do that, either...

    Mike.
