Controlling settings, permissions, and membership within Teams and channels
Hello,
I teach with Teams, and I would LOVE a way to archive old assignments so students can't see them and I don't have to see them either. Thank you

Is there a way to archive assignments without deleting them? My TEAMS is way to full of assignments and it's becoming confusing for students and teachers alike.

Hello Margie,
If you have assigned the assignments to your students, they continue seeing it. If you indeed don’t want students to continue see it, you need to delete it and be sure to back things up.
In addition, If you think this feature is important, please provide your suggestions or feedback via the link below: https://microsoftteams.uservoice.com/forums/555103-public-preview
Many features of current programs have been designed and upgraded based on customers’ feedback.
We truly appreciate your kind understanding.
Best Regards,

Yes, this is an important need. I wish Microsoft had actual teachers in the trenches for their advisors on how to prepare Teams for teachers.
Agreed. We are moving onto another grading period and I don't want to delete the assignments because we need them for record keeping; however, we would like to start anew.
Our teachers are asking the same question and would we believe it would be an excellent feature to archive old assignments and start fresh for the new grading period.
Please allow this feature to take place. As a lot of Teachers are using the Platform, we normally need to archive our Grades per Grading Period. This way not confusing to the Students. Thank you so much for helping us. This platform really helps us teach our children.
