Issue with ghosting when using a Logitech C920 with teams

I am getting some ghosting and discolouring on my c920 camera when using Microsoft Teams. It appears fine on my self-view in MS Teams, but everyone is saying there is an issue. Note - I've blacked out my face so I don't become a meme ;)

Has anyone else experienced this? Do you know why this is happening and how I can fix it?

    Hi TimboM,

I'm Nik, an independent advisor here to assist you with this issue.

Firstly, I would suggest you follow the below basic troubleshooting to avoid common issues due to app cache:

    For windows user:

    1. Manually restart the app by right-clicking the icon in your taskbar (Windows) and selecting Quit.
    2. Go to File Explorer, delete any of the files in the following locations:

    • %AppData%\Microsoft\teams

    1. Click the app icon to open it again.

    For Mac user,

    1. Quit Microsoft Teams.
    2. Delete files in the following folder path.

    “~/Library/Application Support/Microsoft/Teams/

    1. Restart Microsoft Teams.

Besides, you could access the 'Teams Web App' https//teams.microsoft.com, use "Use the web app instead" option to open teams in a browser and check the outcome. It will help to isolate the issue with the desktop app.

    Regards

    Nik
