Can I set up ms teams webinar with only registered attendees can join room?

(And do not show webinar invite link to attendees)

.

For now, I've followed instruction to set up schedule webinar with require registration for everyone.

But when attendees want to join room they can join as a guest.
Can I limit only registered attendees join into webinar and block their permission to share invite link?

That is unfortunate. Setting a webinar to be joined by registrants only should be just that. Please add the option to disable the "Share Invite" button.

I was also able to forward the email that is sent once registered to another email account and was able to join from an incognito browser window without having to register.

What does the "Allow Forwarding" option even do, since the information needed to join the webinar can be forwarded and used by anyone?

What does selecting, "Require registration: For Everyone" option even do since attendees can click "Share Invite" from the participants window and people they share it with don't have to register in order to join?

    Hi Torfun S,

Have a good day. Thanks for your post with above information.

Based on your mentioned description, I totally understand you concern and I have checked from my end, but at present there is no further particular setting option available under Webinar to achieve your concern requirement.

    Regards,

    Darpan
