Auto Joining a Team

When I login it automatically has me join a work team I am not a part of (most likely because I share a domain with them ex. @buisnessname.com), so it automatically has me joining there team, it will not let me remove myself from that team because it is the home account, I was wondering if there was a way since we share a domain for me to tell Microsoft I am not part of that team? So, I can create a group for my work team without having information to people we do not work with.
