Hi Guys - Newbie question here,

I am looking to migrate 30 numbers across from Skype on Premise Microsoft Teams.

We only 20 active users.

Can I ask the Skype on Premise provider to port all 30 numbers - I'm guessing the answer is Yes.

Will I need to pay for 20 voice users?

The 10 additional ported numbers just be available at no extra cost - until I need to use them?

I hope I've selected the right category for the post

Thank you for your assistance,  TJ

    Hi TJ,

Good day! Hope you are doing well. I am Jennifer, an Independent Advisor and Teams user like you.

Yes, it is possible to port all of those 30 numbers to Teams. Here's the process for your Guidance:

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams...

Microsoft Porting Team will migrate over those local numbers to Microsoft Team.

There's a computation per license in how many numbers you can acquire or port in Teams. It is not one number/one payment. Here's the link for the sample computation:

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams...

Hope I am able to answer all of your questions.

Kindly confirm if this helps or if you still need further assistance.

Thank you and stay safe Tj!
