MS Teams recording download only in .png

Hi,

I have tried to download a recording of a MS Teams meeting but I only receive a .png file instead of the mp4 file. The file in the chat of the meeting states "download video". I am unable to access the file via Streams.

Kindly help as this is a very important recording.

    Hi Daniel,

    I have similar issue.
    It does download as .MP4 with Teams web, but as .PNG with Teams desktop application.

    Any suggestions?

    I wonder whether you are experiencing the same issue when using MS Teams online.

    Please follow these steps below to isolate the issue:

    1. Please go to your computer then open your chrome or edge browser as the only recommended browsers to access MS Teams online.
    2. Please go to MS Teams online https://teams.microsoft.com
    3. Then try to log in.
    4. Go to the Files tab on the cannel then select recording folder (see screenshot below)
    5. Download the recording video.

    Are you experiencing the same issue when you downloading the recording video via MS Teams online from your computer?
