Multiple callers in same room

Hello - We have a daily group meeting in my office.  Half of the team is in the office and the other half is remote.  When everyone joins the Teams call I can hear the attendees who are in the room with me directly, then again (slightly later) in the Teams call.  While I expect this, it is distracting.  Is there something I can do about this?

Thank you.

Hello

My name is Veejay, I'm an Independent Advisor.

For now, if you mute a participant (who is in your room or virtual), it will be muted on all participant and that's the limitation of Teams.
I would suggest you to vote and comment on this Teams UserVoice about Personal Muting of Other Participants so that Microsoft can review it and may possibly implemented for future enhancements.
