Dear Sir/Madam,

If I join a team meeting on web and with different icognito tabs as multiple guests. Can the organziers track my IP address or somehow find out all the guests are the same person logging in on one device?

Thank you

Hello! My name is Joe, and I am an Independent Advisor, as well as a longtime Microsoft user. I hope that I will be able to assist you today!

I have not been able to find any specific information yet about whether or not this is possible. However, I recommend assuming that they could if they had a reason to investigate further. I don't believe that the IP address of meeting participants are visible by default.

I can continue to look for a concrete answer on this, but I wanted to give you an initial response.

    Warm Regards,

    Joe

    Hello, DM

I am Igor and I will be glad to help you with this question :)

Incognito tabs have the only function of does not store cookies and cache informations regarding your navigation, but it will not change your IP address in anyway

If you want to change the IP address you need to use a Proxy tool.

    Hi Igor,

But may I ask if they can track me through the Team meeting? If they can, how can I prevent it?

    Thank you
