Switching organizations

Hi,

The issues is that I cannot change to another organization that I have received an invite to. We constantly collaborate with another organizations and receive new invites from them for various new teams. I think the problem lies in the fact that I have joined the organizations but in the mean time my organization changed the way I log in my acount (I now use a different login UPN different from my email). Let me break down the timeline.

  1. Microsoft account with username "user.name@my_org.com"
  2. Accepted invite from another organization and I could switch organizaitons in teams
  3. My org administration changed the way I log into Microsoft Teams to "uname@my_org.com"
  4. I still receive email (3rd party) on "user.name@my_org.com"
  5. New B2B collaboration invites are sent to "user.name@my_org.com"
  6. I cannot switch from my org to guest organization. Error message in API is 'Guest user OID is missing. User is not redeemed'

Any thoughts on this? I hope I made thins clear enough but feel free to ask extra details.

Thanks!

Regards,

Andrei

    Dear Andrei,

    Good day!

Thank you for posting to Microsoft Community. We are happy to help you.

From what I understand regarding your situation, your guest account in your partner' tenant is corrupt.

They need to remove the  "user.name@my_org.com" from their tenant and change it to

    "uname@my_org.com"

Please give it a try and let me know how it goes for further assistance.

We look forward to your response. Thanks for your cooperation.

    Sincerely.
