Hello,

I have this error under "To Do tasks and lists" tabs:

Error loading user settings. Please try again. If this continues please contact customer support.

In some tabs, I have a more explicit message:

To Do tasks and lists are no longer available in Teams for on-premises Exchange accounts. Visit To Do on the web to backup your To Do data by February 22nd, 2021. Shared plans in Planner aren't affected and will remain available.

Is there any way to recover or convert my plannings?

Thanks for your help.

We did not receive any communication from Microsoft, I just discovered the issue while connecting to Teams to update a customer's project planning.

I have to move my mailbox to the cloud to be able to read my data again... Thanks Microsoft but this is another good reason to get away from Microsoft 365. Poor communication, poor support but increasing price.

I only used Teams to fill theses data, with no relation with  my on prem Exchange.

Maybe Microsoft 365 team should look at the Google's way to communicate about discontinued features.

Note: People who use Microsoft To Do with an on-premises mailbox account were previously able to sign in to the app on all platforms. This was due to a bug which has now been fixed.

This is just not accurate... I have on prem mailboxes and our employees can sign into the To Do app on the web right now and it is after the date specified in 2021. The reference web page makes no mention of Planner data being safe...does Microsoft have no employees to run these posts by to help ensure they actually make sense? Does Microsoft not understand that enough data loss means we pick up our toys and go elsewhere?

    Hi Alex,

Glad to assist you Alex. Yes,  once your organization has moved your mailbox to the cloud, you’ll be able to sign in to To Do and manually reenter the information you saved.

In To Do on the web, you’ll be able to view your lists and tasks, but anything you edit or add won’t be saved and will be lost once you sign out. This change won't affect Planner plans that appear in the Tasks app in Teams.

Starting February 22^nd^, 2021, anyone with an on-premises mailbox won’t be able to sign in to To Do on any platform. Make sure to back up your To Do data before then by printing your lists or saving them as PDFs.

Note: People who use Microsoft To Do with an on-premises mailbox account were previously able to sign in to the app on all platforms. This was due to a bug which has now been fixed.

    Kind Regards,

    George
