Screen Sharing

I'm trying to use the IPEVO app to set up a doc cam using my phone in a Teams meeting.  Problem is, I can't screen share what it being shown on my phone.  When I go to screen share the ipevo app doesn't show up as an option to share.  When I use Zoom, it shows up as an option to share the IPEVO screen and it works perfectly, so I know all the software on that end works.  I've looked at multiple you tube videos showing how to do this on Teams, but not of them work (I've tried on 2 different laptops).  I unfortunately have to use Teams when on online teaching so would really appreciate a fix to this.

    Hi Betty,

I am having the same problem. My Visualizer is all set up and I have a screen that I would like to share on Microsoft Teams. However, when I click on Share Screen in Teams, it doesn't give me the Visualizer screen as an option to share. Am I doing something wrong? Thanks for any help you can provide.

Hi. I am having this same issue. Teams does not recognize the IPEVO app when I go to screen share. It doesn't pop up as an option. I tried the step listed above, but it did not resolve the issue. I have redownloaded the app and restarted teams, but it also didn't help.

Hi. I am also having the same issue - when I go to share the screen, the image from the Visualizer doesn't pop up as an option. Was there any resolution to this problem?

    Hi Robyncr,

Glad to help you here. As far as I know, we can share screen but not application in Teams for mobile, just need to click … > Share > Share screen, if you cannot do that, I recommend you try to clear Teams cache files in System settings and try again later, if problem persists, please capture screenshot for your meeting page for checking. And Based on my research, if you’d like to use IPEVO in Microsoft Teams in laptop, just need to plug in IPEVO doc cam to your laptop and turn it on, then select it as video and microphone option in Profile image > Settings > Devices. If you cannot work it out via this way, please offer me your detailed operation steps for further analysis.

In addition, regarding how to share your IPEVO screen, as far as I know, you will see a mirrored image in your preview when using IPEVO doc cam with Microsoft Teams, so we recommend you download and run the free IPEVO Visualizer software to stream the live image of your IPEAVAO doc cam, then share its window in Microsoft Teams. For detailed steps, please view below:

    1.     In profile image > Settings > Devices, select another video device rather than IPEVO.

    2.     Download and run free IPEVO Visualizer software to stream the live image of your IPEAVAO doc cam.

    3.     Go back to Microsoft Teams, and click Share button to sharing your screen or the IPEVO Visualizer window.

If above suggestion doesn’t work, please share more details about your current scenario here, including operation steps, so that I could better help you.

    Regards,

    Betty
