Since I always record the meeting of every class, I always go to Microsoft Stream and be able to watch it even in the chat box when the recording has stopped in MS Team. But around 2 weeks ago, every recorded video cannot open so I have to download to my computer. Can anyone have a solution for this? I have no clue at all. Thank you in advance.

    Hi Ang,

I have checked for Office 365 A1 plus offering, it allows Unlimited personal cloud storage. When you say unlimited means that your IT department can upgrade your storage on demand.

Unlimited personal cloud storage for qualifying plans for subscriptions of five or more users, otherwise 1 TB/user. Microsoft will initially provide 1 TB/user of OneDrive for Business storage which admins(university's IT department) can increase to 5 TB/user. Request additional storage by contacting Microsoft support.

Please note that your individual storage is different from Organization overall storage for the stream, so I would suggest contacting your university's IT department and ensure that you have enough space to upload stream videos:

I have attached a screenshot from my subscription, but in your case, the limit may differ.

    Regards

    Nik

    Hi Ang,

Could you please login on the following link and click on "Subscription" and let me know what all subscriptions you see?

    https://portal.office.com/ -> Subscriptions

Also, Can you login on https://web.microsoftstream.com/ and try uploading a video here?

It will help us to isolate the issue, We check current usages details from https://web.microsoftstream.com/admin?view=Usag... but you need to have Administrator access for it, we would need to contact your IT team if you don't have access to admin portal.

    Regards

    Nik

Actually, I use my university email for using Microsoft as organization I think. So, is that can be unlimited storage? or where can I check the file storage limit?

    Regards,

    Ang

    Hi aangs,

Thanks for reaching out. I'm Nik, an independent advisor here to help you with this.

Quick question, Could you please let me what Office 365 subscription you have? Please note that there is a file storage limit to the subscription you use, so upload may fail if you reach the storage quota limit.

    Regards

    Nik
