Using Microsoft Teams on macOS, including installation, features, and compatibility
Hi Eric:
I hope that Microsoft improve this functionality for Mac users soon.
Greetings.
This browser is no longer supported.
Upgrade to Microsoft Edge to take advantage of the latest features, security updates, and technical support.
I have an issue with non-OS-native notifications with incorrect content popping up for every single meeting. Basically, it appears Microsoft programmed notifications incorrectly for Mac OS and they appear as tiny application windows instead. What's worse is these application windows contain information about meetings it thinks I missed, but it's not clearing the meetings in the list that I joined. Basically, I have this perpetual pop-up that must be manually closed that's sole purpose is to tell me all the meetings I have successfully attended are "overdue" (even the semantics are wrong).
Is it possible to remove the pop-ups entirely since they are fundamentally built wrong and don't produce correct notification content anyway?

Great thanks. I'd rather have actual notifications, but I'll gladly turn off the pop-ups mistakenly called "notifications" and then live without this feature in hopes MS fixes their software so it's actually helpful instead of misinformative, confusing and invasive.
Hi Eric I'm Sergio, it's a pleasure to help you.
You can follow the instructions in this article to turn off the unwhanted notifications, you can block these notification using the operative system or the Team app:
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/mana...
However, you can send a feedback directly to Microsoft to improve this feature in future Team updates.
You can see how to do in:
