Class Teams with Powershell

Hi,

I'm using the MicrosoftTeams module (version 1.1.3, because I need the Add-TeamChannelUser functionality) to create class teams with Powershell. When I add members (not owners) to the team they can only be used after the team was "activated". This activation cannot be done with Powershell (please correct me if I'm wrong here).

A consequence of this is that private channels cannot have team members added to them (this can only be done after activation of the team). This means that teachers will have to add all students manually to each private channel since we cannot provision them at creation time.

Am I missing something or is this by design?

Regards,

Kris.

    Hi KrisVG_559,

Please do not call the fake support number above.

Based on your requirement, it will need powershell script. Since we have a Teams on Microsoft Q&A fourm, the dedicated engineer there has more experience with PowerShell and they can give you more professional assistance. We appreciate your time and cooperation. Wish you have a nice weekend.

    Regards,

    Grace
