Overheating when using Teams

Hi.

I have a near-new computer, and have noticed that it gets incredibly hot when using Teams ... up to 90-100 deg Celcius.

I have read all the discussion boards on this, have tried everything that has been suggested, but it makes no difference at all. It seems to be a problem with the Teams program.

Can Microsoft please update the Teams app and ensure that it doesn't cause what seems to be dangerous and damaging high temperatures?

Thanks

I'm wondering if the problem still persists creates if you create a new fresh environment for MS Team? You can always go back to the previous Windows account profile whenever you want.

    Please follow these steps:

    1. Create a new Windows account:

    1. Install MS Team in a new windows account.

Or as an alternative, you can also use MS Team online https://teams.microsoft.com please go to your computer then open your chrome or edge browser as recommended browsers.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

    Hi Daniel

Thanks for your offer of help. I use Windows 11 which I installed recently. My computer also overheated when using Teams when I used Windows 10.

    Thanks. Mark.

    Hi MarkWhitfield1

My name is Daniel. I will be more than happy to assist you.

This is a known issue, may I ask, do you use Windows 0 or Windows 11 in this case?
