Cannot access teams org

Okay so I am part of my company organization 'EXco' on teams (free version). My Business partner is the owner of the org on teams.  We were then invited as a guest to a client's org. So I switched organizations to join a meeting call, when I tried to switch back I got an error message "We're sorry, we've run into an issue. Try again or sign out and sign back in". So I did, and still could not get back into EXco org. (This is all on desktop app). However, on the web browser and mobile app I was able to switch back with no issues.

Then, It stopped working everywhere. So I asked the org owner to delete me from the org and re-invite me and maybe it will work. Now I've been added as a NEW user but same name and same email and now I'm like this duplicate alien. So now I can access via mobile app and web browser via this new alien account that is some sort of wack duplicate of me - but my email doesn't recognize it as me (I'm getting emails that I myself am trying to reach me, as if it's another member)? But still no access via desktop app.

How do I get back to life on teams as it was before. I can still access my client's org fine.

    Hi Chelsea,

My name is Didi, an Independent Advisor.

If you're on Windows, you could try removing Teams-related credentials on your device.

Go to Credential manager > Windows credential > remove all Teams credentials.

Then you can clear the Teams cache:

    1. Quit Microsoft Teams. Right-click the icon and select Quit.
    2. Cut and paste %appdata%\Microsoft\Teams into File Explorer.
    3. Delete the contents of the entire folder.
    4. Restart your device and sign back into Microsoft Teams.

If the above steps didn't help, you may try uninstalling the app through this process:

Then reinstall from this download link:

    Thank you.
