Hello,

I am trying to open a url in a browser without going to the page open in :

IE I would like the URL to point to use the web app instead. IE:

Is there a way to bypass the cancel and then auto select the white button or is there something I can add to the end of the URL to open in chrome?

Thank you and I hope I am asking the question to make sense.

    Thank you for the reply!

Sorry for the late reply on my part - busy Monday and weekend.

I have come to a similar conclusion for my original question.

To maybe try to solve the problem but in a different way - Is there a way to skip the:

Altogether by clicking a link. IE it will just launch the app to the appropriate channel?

Or if teams is open can it go to the channel anyway?

Thank you for the reply and my goal is to improve the user experience launching to a channel from a SharePoint page.

Just another workaround option for you; you can run AutoHotKey to detect when a browser window with that title or url is active, and use it to automate the choices you were looking to achieve. If that's workable for you let me know, I can post some working code for you but it shouldn't be hard to figure out from the AHK docco either (see WindowSpy and WinGet as a start)

edit: alternatively, https://powerautomate.microsoft.com/en-us/desktop/ looks even better! Hadn't realised it's now free!
