Username not working

Hi,

I have a student who has been given their username and password but they are unable to access from home.  I have copied and pasted the username and password from the teams site but their parent, who is familiar with teams, has tried it numerous times unsuccessfully.  How can I activate their account?

    I wonder whether they are experiencing the same issue when using MS Teams online.

    Please follow these steps below to isolate the issue:

    1. Please go to the computer then ask them open to open the chrome or edge browser as recommended browsers to access MS Teams online.
    2. Please go to MS Teams online https://teams.microsoft.com
    3. Then try to log in.

    Are they experiencing the same issue when they are using MS Teams online from the computer?

    Please fill out this Account Reinstatement Form to reactivate the account:

    Please keep in mind this activation process can take up to 24 hours or more depending on how many queries are being handled.

    If they are still unable to access the account after the accounts have been reactivated then please reach you to your admin ask them to reset the account or replace the account with a new account.

    Please note as fellow MS Team forum users (Non-Microsoft Staff) I don't have access to users' accounts.

    Hi, It is working on their phone but not on the laptop, I asked them to follow your instructions, which they did without success.  It is now saying that the account is temporarily locked, so I wonder if they have entered the username/password too many times now.
