Sure its not another client or mobile device marking those as read?
OWA 2016 is marking email as read without reading them

Dear Experts,
My issue is really strange. the OWA 2016 is deployed at client end.
When new email arrives it shows in the inbox. After some time (almost 20 to 30 minutes) it mark it as read without even reading the email.
Could anyone please help me to resolve the issue.
