Hi,

I created a plan in Planner for each of the functional areas in my department and has been working great. I was wondering if there are any plans to have more advanced metrics to review the team's progress and also suggest adding individual due dates for each of the items in a checklist.

Hi Daniela,

Thank you for posting your question in this community. Based on your description, it seems that you would like to have more features and advanced metric, such the individual members due dates, complete percentage, etc. which it can help the manger and team members to track their tasks and overview of project easily. In this scenario, I am afraid Microsoft Planner didn’t have the too advanced tool at this moment. Some users also noticed these limitations in Planner and raise several similar ideas on Microsoft Planner UserVoice. If it is convenient, you can check the following ideas and vote and subscribe them, which it can let the product team to be aware of the limitations and improve it in the future. Sorry for the inconvenience caused.

The ability to assign individual checklist items and designate a due date within a task leading up to the overall task due date.

Give manager-level views in addition to the basics.

In addition, if you need more professional metrics, data, report, to check the project progress, I think you can consider to use Project to help you and your project members to track the progress and project stage even the individual task progresses with a Time line.

For your information:
