Hi I get the following error since yesterday. I worked correctly yesterday and this morning when starting up the computer it provided the following error message.

I uninstalled it and removed all the left over folders

Then reinstalled it but the same error message pops up.

I saw somebody recommend to enable a service which did not work either.

Could somebody recommend a solution please.  I am using Windows 10 laptop.

Thanks, Claudia

I were able to fix it with 'Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable' Latest version https://docs.microsoft.com/ru-RU/cpp/windows/latest-supported-vc-redist?view=msvc-160

    Hi,

I found the solution to my problem. My Downloads folder is on our network and as I need to connect via VPN to the network it was not available when starting  Teams during the start up of my computer.

Once connected to the network Tems worked fine. I moved my downloads folder now to my local drive, which resolved the problem

If the problem still persists then please run the MS Team app in compatibility mode & see if it make any difference:

    • Right-click the MS Team icon on the taskbar then select quit.
    • Then right-click the MS Team icon on the desktop > select properties > Under the compatibility tab, check the "Run this program in compatibility mode for" option then select Windows 8 from the dropdown list

    Kind Regards
