Switching between classes on Teams

Question

Hello

As a Sub I usually get invited to join a class with a link. However when one class is over and I have to go switch to another class I get lost. When a teacher asks me to go to the other class I keep coming back to the same class that I just got out of. On two occasions the teacher called me in and that was easy to join my next class. Is there a way to switch between classes by myself or do I have to be called in every time?

Hi ATom,

To switch between classes, you'd need to click on "Teams" icon from the left panel and select the next class.

You could also try to open multiple instances of Teams app as described in the following video walkthrough an see if this trick helps:

Thanks Nik for your reply.

I am able to join a class with a substitute link or call in. However switching between periods to go to another class is where I get lost - always going back to the previous class I had.

May I know if you join a class over a channel meeting or Instant meet now call by the teacher?

Could you please provide me with some more information to understand the scenario? Also, if you have a screenshot to visualize the situation that will be helpful.
