Edit a confirmed shift on TimeClock

A few days ago, I confirmed a shift using the time-clock option on the Teams app.

Unfortunately the times were wrong and I'm now trying to edit or delete the shift.

I have not been able to find any information about how to do this.

Nobody in my organisation, even the IT staff, have access to delete or edit a confirmed time-clock entry.

Has anyone else had this issue?  Anyone got a solution?

Another solution I thought of was to add an additional shift for that day (just add a 1 hour shift) to correct the total time worked.  I received an error message saying there was an overlap of shift times ... which there wasn't.

So I'm stuck.  Any help would be appreciated.

I'm using an iPhone 11, iOS14.6.

Hi PDMatt2021,

Have a good day. Thank you for posting in the Microsoft Community.

From your mentioned description about “Nobody in my organisation, even the IT staff, have access to delete or edit”, can we re-confirm from your side that whether you are shift schedule manager?

Generally, shift manager can deleted scheduled shift from Teams desktop client. If you are not shift manager, please contact them to delete shift schedule to check the result.

If you still cannot delete, please provide us detailed steps screenshot information for further analysis.

Regards,
Darpan

I'm not talking about a Scheduled Shift on the desktop.  This is a different issue.

I'm talking about 'clock in' and 'clock out' on the mobile Teams app.  My shift manager cannot edit the time/date that I clocked in/clocked out. I want to edit a timesheet that I have already confirmed.

I thought that I could just add an additional hour to correct the mistake.  So I tried to add that hour prior to the confirmed shift and it says there's an error message.  There is no overlap.

1445-1535 This is the shift I'm trying to add. Tells me there is an overlapping time clock entry ... which there isn't.
