Error Code 80070008 - Cannot Log Into Microsoft Teams on Desktop

We have a computer that was working when logging into Microsoft Teams but today is not working and code: 80070008 pops up and cannot log in.  I reviewed and it looks like the system is up to date.  Any suggestions on how to resolve?  Microsoft Teams works on mobile device but not on desktop.

    There was a similar problem, this algorithm helped:

    1. Exit Teams
    2. Delete the %appdata%\Microsoft\Teams folder
    3. Uninstall and reinstall Teams client
    4. Restart the computer

    Perhaps some actions were redundant, but it was necessary to urgently help users. The main thing is that this worked.

    I have the same. This happens once or twice a week when I get in the office in the morning. Everything else is connected, including Outlook, but Teams says it can't connect.

    • Disconnecting and reconnecting network does not work.
    • Closing Teams and restarting does not work.

    The only option I have is to restart my laptop.

    Could you please open a new incognito tab then go to https://teams.microsoft.com by using Google Chrome or Edge as a recommended browser. Please let me know Can you successfully log in?

    For troubleshooting purposes please make sure you disable Firewall, Antivirus, VPN/Proxy & Adblocker for a while.

    Had the same problem today.  Can log in via the web in incognito mode no problem.  App on phone works fine.  Desktop app will not.  Tried signing out and back in to no avail.
