I do not have the ability to copy tasks. I can only copy a link to a task. See screenshot attached.

This worked! Thanks so much for that. Unfortunately, it's not a great long-term solution for how we use the Planner tool in our organization. Hopefully Microsoft will get it worked out ASAP

It looks like an intermittent issue with Tasks app. As a workaround, please try to open the planner in Team channel where you have initially created it and check if you see the "Copy Task" option.

It looks like that the team channel is marked hidden, please go to Team > click on ... three-dot more button next to Team channel > click "Show"
