Retrieving a Deleted Recording

Can you retrieve a recording that you have deleted (by accident) from the Teams Chat? Our videos don't stream automatically we have to upload so it is not on Microsoft Stream.

Hi NouhaJohnson,

Greetings.

Since you mentioned the video is not in Stream,  you can try to go to OneDrive and SharePoint to see if the recording is there.  For more information please see Use OneDrive for Business and SharePoint or Stream for meeting recordings

Moreover, go to Teams web app to see if the recording still there. If the above methods not working, please kindly share your screenshot of the issue for further assistance.

    Hi Grace,

    thank you for the answer.

    Unfortunately I had moved the video from my OneDrive for Business/Recordings to another place. Then I got a message that participants were not able to see / download the recording, and after looking on the internet, I found out that I shouldn't have moved it, since that's the place where Teams looks for the recording.

    Unfortunately, when I put the video's back in the "correct" directory, I still get the message that the link was removed. ... Is there any way to allow participants to get access to the video ?
