Team affecting computer shut down

Since I've installed Microsoft Team when I try to shut down my computer it tells me "you don't have permission to shut down"

What's up with that?  Is that a component of Microsoft Team?

Hello WilburSutton,

May I know the Windows OS you are running? According to my knowledge, Microsoft Teams will not caused this kind of issues. To narrow down the issue, please first un-install Microsoft Teams desktop client and double check whether you have the same issue.

Besides, I suggest try the following methods to see how it goes:

Open "Run" and digit "gpedit.msc"

Go to "Computer Settings > Windows Settings > Security Settings > Local Policies > Security Options

search "User Account Control: Run all administrators in Admin approval" and set it to ENABLE

Open "Run" again and do a "gpupdate /force"

Regards,

Rick
