Missing Teams Conversations

I am missing several conversations under the "Chat" tab.  For some reason, I cannot see them on the desktop app but I see them on the mobile app.  I have uninstalled and re-installed MS Teams desktop app and the conversations are still missing.

I also have searched for the conversations at the top of the teams page and I do see them, they will appear on the left under "chat" then once I click on something else they disappear.  I am missing 7-8 chats.

Can you please assist?  Thank you.

    Thank you. I followed your steps and unfortunately that did not work. Some of the items in the folder were not able to be removed also. I restarted Teams and the missing chats are still not there.

    Do you have another solution?

    If these conversation are missing only from the Desktop app. let's try to clean cache and refresh the Teams by following the steps below:

    1. Close Microsoft Teams.

    Cut and paste the following location into File Explorer:

    %appdata%\Microsoft\Teams

    1. Delete contents of the entire folder.
    2. Restart Microsoft Teams.

    After that Restart Microsoft Teams, log in and test again.
