Project for Web sync with Planner

Hello,

i'm starting with Project for web, Planner and Teams.

I'm wondering how i can sync the Tasks for persons through the Planner and than to Teams.

In Project for Web -> Boards there is absoutely same style of planning like in Planner (Tasks, Buckets etc..).

I'm expecting to see that in the Planner plan i've created for example for channel in Teams..

Is that somehow possible? Or i'm thinking about this completely wrong and there is different way how to connect Project for Web directly with Teams?

Many Thanks in advance

I've also just started using Project for the web and have been somewhat disappointed by a few things:

    1. The charts and schedule in Planner aren't visible Project for the web.
    2. Tasks assigned in Planner appear in To Do as 'assigned'. Tasks assigned in Project for the web do NOT! This is a major flaw - I manage many projects and wanted all the Planner functionality plus GANTT charts to show clearly project duration, hence I upgraded to Project for the web. However, now I find tasks are not pulled through to the To Do app meaning I have to chase project team members manually instead of having technology do it for me. Very disappointing - and somewhat misleading of Microsoft as the link provided above (https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/what-is-project-for-the-web-c19b2421-3c9d-4037-97c6-f66b6e1d2eb5?ui=en-us&rs=en-us&ad=us) suggests that the same task management from Planner is available in Project for the Web.

This request is not new. I just went through the trouble of purchasing the Project Online licenses by presenting the Project to Planner integration I heard about to my company. After setting everything up, I was highly disappointed when understanding that the integration did not exist. It is merely a button that says link to Planner. Third parties are doing the integration already and earning big money with it. Microsoft should definitively focus on this integration.

I put a solution together for this. It is a little rough around the edges but Its freeish (you need one person to have powerautomate premium for dataverse)

Using power automate and sharepoint I can sync all information from project for web to planner and push back limited information from planner back to web. Any database (I know sharepoint is not a DB but its works for this) was needed to track all the UID from PFW and Planner.

If planner had a gant chart there would be no need for PFW (project for web)

The users like all there tasks in one place from the 5 or more projects they are on.

Im sure Microsoft will link this all together now that I did all this work.

Is there a solution to sync Project tasks with Planner? I have 10 Projects and would like my teams actions to be consolidated in Planner (tasks).

I agree 100%. The integration to To Do would be critical.
