Colour on Screen

The left-hand side of my screen has turned white, it is usually purple (this is on teams by the way) and the white is hurting my eyes. Can anyone help me solve this problem? Thanks :)

    Hi Lara,

    You got left-bar turn white cause you probably update your Teams client version to Microsoft Teams Version 1.4.00.4167 which is the latest version of Teams app.

    If this default theme that you are not confortable with, you may go Setting > General > choose Dark or High contrast

    Hi Lara,

    I'm Nik, an independent advisor here to assist you with this.

    I have signed out and sign in and I too get the left panel colour white. It seems to be a new change in the latest update.

    I have looked further but it seems to be a default theme and I don't see an option to change this behaviour.
