HI, I have a sharepoint list with a number of different views on it and I wanted to post one view specifically as a tab in a TEAM but when i copy the URL, and add the tab, it only shows the 'default' view, not the one I wanted to show??  I tried using the list app and the sharepoint app - using a link and both ways it reverts to the default view only.  I don't think it was always like this was it?  I can still select the view i want but i was hoping to not need do that additional step. anyone know how to get around it?

Hi Amy,

Thanks for using Microsoft products and posting in the community, I'm glad to offer help.

Accorindg to your description, I tested on my side, and it worked well.

In your case, please go to the list > click the gear icon in the upper right corner > List settings > scroll down and click the view you want to post > copy the URL (https://contoso.sharepoint.com/sites/sitename/Lists/listname/viewname.aspx) from the view settings to the Teams tab.

Please note that if the URL contains spaces, you need to replace them with %20, for example "List 1" -> "List**%20**1".

Hope the above information can be helpful, and please feel free to let me know if it works, I'll continue to help you.

Best Regards,

Arck

Hi Sorry, yes, i tried that and it does work, its just not really intuitive for folks that wouldn't know about the 20 and % etc...  they like to select the 'URL' in the address bar but i'm glad we have a work around we can help them out with for now.

    thanks much!
