MS teams not transmitting video

I am running MS Teams on MacOS 11.4

I have two issues:

  1. How do I remove the virtual-cams that I have uninstalled from the camera list?
  2. I recently noticed that while I can see my built-in Facetime Camera is ON and I could see in my panel capturing my video, the video feed does not transmit to the room or to the other side of the line. In other words, everybody else could not see my video feed but just my profile pic.

Please help. Thanks in advance.

    Managed to resolve both!!!

    To remove the camera list, go to /Library/CoreMediaIO/Plug-Ins/DAL/ and remove the unused plugin.

    To resolve the video transmission:

    1. log out of the Teams desktop
    2. log in to the web version of Teams and start a meeting with the camera ON.
    3. log back into the desktop version Teams
    4. transfer the ongoing meeting to the desktop app
    5. your video should be transmitting now.
