Coloring based on date

Hi,

I have a Teams List with a column of type "Date & Time". I want coloring added to the cells contained in this column based on the date.
There is a predefined formatting added with one color if its todays date, one if its yesterday and one if its tomorrows date.
But I want the cell to be colored if the date is more that 40 days (example) back in time from current date.
Is this possible?

Regards /Chris

    Hi Svensk,

I have checked the Issue tracker list template, and it gives a default "Days old" calculated column where you can specify conditional formating on a specific value.

It would be best to create a calculated column like Days old and set the formatting on that column.

To create a calculated column, you'd need to open the list in SharePoint. Now, follow the steps as described in the following article to know how to create a calculated column:

Thanks but there was nothing in the video on how to resolve what I was asking about. The conditional formatting rule for column type Date has only "today" and "a specific date" to choose from. What I need is coloring for X number of days prior to "today".

    Hi Chris,

Thanks for your post on the community forum. I'm Nik, an independent advisor here to assist you with this.

You could use the Microsoft lists ‘conditional formatting rule' for the entire list or Column format option. You can create a rule to set the column format based on the specific value or calculated column.

I'm sharing with you a video walkthrough for more details:
