Azure Analysis Services Role assignment

We developed a tabular model in Azure AS and Power BI live report on top it.

What role should we assign on Azure AS to end user to access Power BI report

reader/contributor didn't work so far. Only when we make that user as Azure AS admin then only user is able to access the report. But we cant make all users admins.

Thanks for the question and also for using this forum.

I think you shoul try to set the Database users roles for the users and that should work . You can read about this here https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/analysis-services/analysis-services-manage-users#user-permissions .

Agree. We need database role here like Read, Process
