Hello There,

I create many polls in Teams and I recently encountered an error message since the switch from Forms to Polls, Failed to create new poll". I went ahead and logged into forms.office.com and deleted all my poll questions. I logged off computer and log back on. I proceeded to try to create questions in polls and forms and the same error populates.

Please help. I need to enter polls within the next 60 mins.

Thank you

Dear Michelle,

Greetings! Thank you for posting in Microsoft forum.

We understand the situation and we’ll try our best to help you find the solution. May I know if you have deleted the polls/forms from Microsoft Forms Recycle bin as well?

The message you received indicates that you have reached the maximum number of limit of forms/quiz/polls that can be created in https://forms.office.com/. Each Forms user can create up to 200 single forms, which include those on the Deleted forms tab. (For example, 150 forms in the Microsoft Forms portal + 50 forms on the Deleted forms tab = 200 forms.). So, to make the space to create more forms, you need to delete some forms from Recycle bin https://forms.office.com/Pages/DesignPageV2.aspx?recyclebin=1

Reference: Delete a form or recover a deleted form (microsoft.com)

If you need any help, let us know. We will look forward to your reply. Stay safe and stay healthy.

Sincerely,

Neha Singh | Microsoft Community Moderator
