My teams will keep redirecting me to older meetings when I enter any meetings that I have set up of that my co-worker has set up. i have tried across 3 different machines all with the same results and in addition to my coworker having the same issue. This happens regardless how I join the meeting through Outlook, web Outlook or directly through Teams. Has anyone had similar issues and was it able to get resolved and how?

Thanks

    Hi Zed,

I follow your recommendation as listed, however, it did not work. The meeting title will say the correct title if I log into it from Teams but the chat is that of the older meeting and it only shows the members of the older meeting. If I join a meeting from Outlook the meeting title changes to the older meeting and the chat is of the older meeting as well.

The issue is not only on one computer I have 2 laptops that I work on and both do the same, as well as a personal desktop computer that I use at home that does the same thing.

My only thoughts is it would be an issue on the exchange server.

    Hi, NoeMartinez5

According to your description, please update your Teams client to the latest version and share it with us.

Also, could you please tell us the procedures that how did you got the redirecting to the old meetings?

In addition, please give an attempt for following steps to see if it helps:

    Supposed that you're using Windows

    1. Sign out on Teams > Quit Microsoft Teams by right clicking the icon and select Quit.
    2. On your keyboard, Hold Windows key and Press R
    3. Cut and paste %appdata%\Microsoft\Teams in the RUN then OK.
    4. Delete the contents of the entire folder.
    5. Restart Device > Restart Microsoft Teams > Sign In.

Please feel free to contact us if there's an update.

    Regards,

    Zed
