@mention not working

Question

I am trying to use @mention and it is not working. It works in general but in this one instance, when I am trying to @mention the name of a Team, it does not work. IT works for other teams and people just not in this one instance.

Is there something about the way that Team was set up that might cause this? Any ideas?

This is odd, are you the only person in the Team experiencing this issue? What happens when your collages mention the problematic Team name?

Hi Daniel. Thanks for answering.

I've tried it online, on the desktop version and on the phone ap! None work. 

I am trying to mention a group not a person. The @mention works for this group when I am in other Teams and adding a comment but not in this particular one. All the members of this group are members of the new Team as well.

It is a complete mystery to me whey this does not work.

Is the person you are trying mention already added to the Team?

If yes then please investigate this issue furthermore.

Please follow these steps below to isolate the issue:

1. Please go to your computer then open your chrome or edge browser as recommended browsers to access MS Teams online.
2. Please go to MS Teams online https://teams.microsoft.com
3. The try to log in.

Are you experiencing the same issue when you are using MS Teams online from your computer?
