Teams Android App doesn't automatically switch over to or detect newly connected Bluetooth device

Hey all,

When connecting a Bluetooth headset to my Android device (OnePlus 8 Pro, but can recreate on other devices) in the middle of an ongoing Teams call, the Teams app doesn't recognize the new device, and won't switch over to it.  It seems I actually have to close the app and reopen it in order to use the Bluetooth device.  Just leaving and rejoining a call won't pick up the device.

Is this a known issue?

Thanks!

    Hi Nathan G Salmon,

When we connecting the Bluetooth headset, Teams may not recognize the device and change the settings for a while, and the restarting process makes Teams reset. So, restarting is indeed a good way to solve such problems.

    Thanks for your understanding.

    Linda
