The Teams Interface

I have a Microsoft Teams paid subscription and I've also been given an email address from one of the companies that I consult. I will have to be setting up Teams meeting with a core group of their staff. They have placed me on one of their teams. I'm confused as to what the difference will be with the Teams interface between me setting up a Teams meeting with clients other than the one who gave me the email address and the meetings I setup with them.

Thanks

I didn't explain myself very well. There are 2 scenarios.

    1. My organisation with a paid Teams license and
    2. Another organisation that has added me to their organisation, even though I am a consultant. I have been given an email address and this now seems to be working very well.

I still need to work through my organisation, which is basically 3 people now.

    Thanks for your help.

    Hi, ReggieBrown1

According to your description, the key of issue is that when your clients add you in their team and you would be the external user to them. The interface is same for both their team members and you. But for the team owner has the authorities to manage the channel.

Vice versa, if you add them in your Teams' channel, you need to contact your administrator to give the access for them.

After that, you would be able to share the files, data, etc. with the externals - your clients.

Please feel free to contact us if there's an update.

    Kind Regards,

    Zed
