MS Teams Planner not saving comments

Question

Hi Team,

Have just created new buckets in MS Teams Planner, and multiple times I have tried to add comments to different tasks.

Each time I have pressed Send to save the comment..... but when I exit the task, and then go back into it, the comment is removed.

It will save Checklist additions, but will not save Comments

We have a full 365 license, and I use the Teams application. I have also tested this on the online version of Teams, and the same problem occurs.

Thank you for the reply.

I created the team using the Desktop version of MS Teams. Since then, I have tried to add comments via the desktop version and the Office 365 version, but neither is saving them.

I can add tasks, and they save, but the comments do not.

Hi Oliver,

Have not tried this in Private mode, but we have a workaround for the updates. We are saving the comments into the Description field, which works ok for us at the mo.

Hey guys,

Thank you for the update. I have noticed the message icon on tasks when I add a new comment, but about 30 - 60 seconds after adding the comment, the comment is no longer viewable. This same issue has been re-created by multiple people at my office.

I have tried the same test on both the desktop and Office 365 version of Teams, both times it doesn't save comments.

I have also let our Network and IT team know about this issue.

Hey,

Have tried again, but am still getting the same issue. It looks like its saved, but when you go back into the task it is gone.

I will talk to my tech guys to see if they have any ideas about the network.
