Preventing Screen Record through Android and Web

Question

Hi,

I am a trainer and I have copyrighted content. I want to conduct sessions through Team's life video conferencing feature and I do not want my students to record my sessions either through Teams or through Android's 'screen record' or any web based screen record apps. How can this be prevented?

Only Presenter and Organizer can record meeting in Microsoft Teams, so, to prevent students from recording your video in Microsoft Teams, just need to set them as Attendee roles in Microsoft Teams meeting. As for preventing them from recording in other devices, since we focus on handling issue or question related to Office 365/Microsoft Teams, we have little knowledge with other devices’ setting, to let you get better assistance, please contact support of these devices for further suggestion, thanks for your understanding and cooperation.

Hi HarshaU,

Based on my test, yes, you can make participants as attendees via clicking ...(More options) > Make an attendee like below. In addition, as far as I know, recording is not supported in Teams for free, so it is no need for you to make participant as attendee, all members in the Teams for free meeting cannot record meeting.
