Can't open assignment file

Question

Hello, i have a question regarding to the assignment files in microsoft teams. i set an assignment to my class, but there were 5 of them whom cannot see the assignment (also their status on my screen is already marked as 'not turned in' whereas the other students status are 'viewed) so it makes them cannot turn in their handwork because they cant open the assignments. what should i do?

Thanks for your post on the community forum. I'm Nik, an independent advisor here to assist you with this.

Could you please check with students if they see the missing assignment on the MS Teams web app?

Go to access 'Teams Web App' https://teams.microsoft.com, use the "Use the web app instead" option to open teams in a browser(preferably Chrome or Edge) and check the outcome. It will help to isolate the issue with the desktop app.

If they have a similar experience on the MS Teams web app, then please remove the student from the class and add again check the outcome.

I suspect that you're experiencing this issue due to a delay at Microsoft Teams services due to the network overload or maybe a recent rapid growth of Teams service usages that led to system overload and service degradation.

Please let me know the outcome, and I'll further look into this.

sorry i want to ask one more question.. one of my student said that she has turned in her work, her status in my screen also showed 'turned in'.. but when i want to check her work, there wasnt any work attached in there.. it showed like this.. what should i do?

it works!!! i try to remove the student and add them again and also i change the 'assign to', i change it so the members that i add in the future can see the assignment. they can upload their handwork too! thankyou for helping me Nik!
