@tags stopped working in Desktop App.

Hello,

Just today I am unable to use the @tag function in any of my teams on the desktop application. When I use the Web app everything works fine but in the desktop app I do not have the manage Tags option, and if I try to use the @tag it shows no results found. Has anyone else experienced this? I have tried uninstalling and re-installing the Teams Application as well as manually clearing all the Cache.

Thanks in advance for your help!

    Hello!

Same issue with our organization.  Some users experience no use of tags in desktop app, some users still have functionality.  Web app is working.  The issue is showing up for both "owners" and "members".  Tried settings, rebooting, etc as stated.  We use tags frequently, so would appreciate a quick response to this issue.

    Thanks.

    Dear Jake,

You could try this; in any internet browser in incognito/inPrivate mode, go to: https://teams.microsoft.com/, access with your Office 365 account, then, verify if you can access through Teams "web-client", then open that team > channel, and check out if you are allowed to use @tags there in web version, so, if you have same behavior, could be related to the team settings ( See below image ), with an Owner of the team verify team settings, click ellipsis button > Manage Team > Settings > @mentions

By other hand, this settings has an superior level of settings, related to the Teams policies, but in this case to check that policies you will need an admin global account from your Office 365 tenant to verify in Teams admin center. See more information in below link:

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams...

    Regards,

    Renzo
