Joining Meetings

Hello,

For work, I am invited to virtual Teams meetings all the time.. However, I seem to run into problems joining said meetings at least 50% of the time. I click the link that I received as a calendar invite to "join the meeting." Sometimes it will open the meeting and run smoothly. Other times it will require that I login before joing the meeting. So I throw my hands up and try to sign in. At that point I always receive an error message saying "we're having problems, try again later." At that point I am stuck outside of the meeting and can't get in. Can my account be fixed so that anytime I receive a Teams invite, all I have to do is click the link and automatically join the meeting? This is a constant headache and will prevent me from using the services in the future. Thank you in advance for your help.

Chris

Are you ble to access Teams from the Web version instead?
    https://teams.microsoft.com

Trying to figure out if its related with the desktop application.

It automatically opens up the app.. I'm not sure how to access a meeting without that happening, but I could delete the app if you think that would help?

    Hi Igor,

Thanks so much for your help. I followed the instructions and reopened the Teams app to login afterwards. This time I was able to input my password, but it didn't accept any of the passwords I tried (eventually I received an error message which I attached to this email). To make sure I had the right one, I tried logging back into this Microsoft website and it worked immediately. When I tried to change my password on the app, it said my account was not setup for me to do that. Not sure what that means.. Any suggestions?

    Thanks,

    Chris
