I cannot create a class in Teams

Question

Hi,

I am trying to create a class in Teams but I haven't had any success. I reviewed with the IT administrator from the College where I am professor and he identified that my license was previously setup incorrectly as a student so he change it to Faculty. I have waited for more than 24 hrs. To see if changes were effective but it is still the same. (No class options are shown at the time to create a new team)

Here is an articleon how to set up a team. If you have the right permissions, this should be a straight forward process.

Create a team

On the left side of Teams, click Teams, at the bottom of the teams list, click Join or create a team, and then click Create a new team.

Once you've created the team, invite people to join it. You can add individual users, groups, and even entire contact groups (formerly known as "distribution lists").
