Hi, I'm having the same issue. The error I'm getting is. I was received an invite to my hotmail account, which is the account I have used to sign in successfully to the Windows Teams app. However when I open up Teams in Android, I get this message.

Thanks for posting in our forum. Regarding the invite you received, is it the invite of adding you as a guest to a team?
If so, as you mentioned that you can open the teams app by clicking the link in the invite email, I suggest you try to re-install the Teams app on your Android and check if the issue persists.
Meanwhile, please double confirm with the team owner that whether your Hotmail account exists in the team’s guest list. If not, you can ask him to re-send the guest invite to you.
If the issue persists, I’d like to collect some detailed information as below for further investigation:
1. Please provide us a screenshot of the invite email.
2. Can you sign into the Teams app using the same account on your PC.
3. Please provide us a screenshot of the guests list of this team and highlight your name.
