Error when trying to switch between accounts - help!

Hi!

I¨m having trouble accessing a team hosted by another organisation where I have been invited as a guest. By clicking the invitation link I have managed to add the other organisation's account (indicated with "Guest") in addition to my own company's office 365 account. I can see both accounts in the top right in a drop down menu. However, when I click on the "guest  account" in the drop down menu, Teams does not switch to this account and will not let me access the team I was invited to. I can see that some processes are initiated since the browser window flickers and sometimes I can read the words "initializing" and "error". After 10 seconds or so, the window ends up where I started, with my own account marked in the drop down menu and my own teams on the screen. 

I have tried to switch to the "guest account" in Safari, Firefox and the desktop app. I have reinstalled the desktop app multiple times. This does not help. I run the latest Mac OSX on a new laptop.

What can I do to fix this error? Are there any particular setting I need to change? Are there any privacy settings that might interfere?

    Thank you for your advice! 

    I have one account registered with my email. The other organisation have added me as a guest using the same email address. I assume that I'm therefore using the same account for logging in? When I click the invitation link from the other organisation the web page says "

    Welcome to Teams! You don't have access to this org in Teams. Select another org, or contact your admin for more details."

    There I only have one option - to sign in with my own account. Thereafter I can see both organisations in the drop down menu on the top right. I am however unable to click the other organisation (marked as guest) in the menu and view the team I was invited to. Any idea of what I should do? 

    I can always try the other web browsers as well but I would really like to get the desktop app working. This is my main priority.

    Sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue. Just to clarify, are you using the same account for the two organizations? If it's different, you may have to sign out of your own Teams account to be able to sign in as a guest to the other organization.

    In addition, Safari and Firefox support the Microsoft Teams' web app but don't support some of its features. You may need to use MS Edge or Chrome to sign in and try using your guest account credentials.
